Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin is a starting wide receiver for the Washington Commanders. He played high school football in Indiana and then went on to play college football at Ohio State University. McLaurin appeared in six games his freshman season at Ohio State, but did not record a catch. His college stats were the most efficient his senior year when he caught 35 passes for 701 yards and an absurd 11 touchdowns. Even with minimal college production, McLaurin flashed elite workout metrics - posting a 4.35 (97th-percentile) 40-time and 114.6 (96th-percentile) Speed Score.

After Washington drafted Dwayne Haskins with their first-round pick in 2019, it was reported he asked for the team to consider drafting McLaurin. McLaurin made an instant impression as soon as he stepped on the field, playing meaningful snaps in his rookie season. He had 125 receiving yards his first NFL game and finished No. 2 in the NFL in Air Yards Share (41.6-percent). McLaurin was nominated by the Pro Football Writers Association to the All-Rookie Team in 2019.

McLaurin improved in year two, breaching the 1,000 yards receiving mark, and setting career marks in targets and receptions. Washington has consistently relied on McLaurin to carry the passing game, as he has regularly had a Target Share near 25-percent each year with the team. Unfortunately, his ceiling has been limited by quarterback play. He has caught passes from Dwayne Haskins, Kyle Allen, Ryan Fitzpatrick (for one game), and former XFL legend Taylor Heinicke. Still, McLaurin has proven he is a threat to score every play.
