A.T. Perry was a three-star recruit entering college, where he joined Wake Forest in 2018. He redshirted in 2018 and was a minor contributor in 2019 (four receptions, 62 yards, one touchdown in three games) while future NFL wide receiver Kendall Hinton led the team with receiving. Five of the six leading receivers from the 2019 squad were gone the next season, leading to Perry moving up the depth chart.
In 2021, the 6-5, 206 lb receiver took a massive leap, leading the team with 71 receptions, 1293 yards, and 15 touchdowns. For an encore performance, he returned in 2022 and put up 81 receptions for 1096 yards and 11 touchdowns. 2021 saw Perry make the 2021 All-ACC First Team and finish as a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award. He's currently on the watch list for the 2022 Biletnikoff and Maxwell Awards.
