Jordan Travis is a quarterback for the New York Jets. Travis' journey to the NFL started in Florida where he made his name as a three star quarterback prospect. He would sign a letter of intent to play for Louisville, but after his first season he would transfer to Florida State. Travis' playing time incrementally rose every season at Tallahassee until he became the full time starter at the beginning of the 2022 season. After a strong season, there was some buzz about winning major awards his senior season. Travis would lead the Seminoles to an undefeated record until disaster struck late in the season and he broke a bone in his lower leg forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. Travis was the first quarterback to beat the university of Miami three times in a row. He was a finalist for the Heisman trophy and a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. His injury forced him out of all physical activities in the Combine, but the New York Jets saw enough promise in him to take him in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Travis will sit behind Tyrod Taylor and Aaron Rodgers who have been in the league for some time. As long as they can stay healthy then Travis will remain on the sidelines for 2024.
