Antoine Green was a four-star prospect and a member of the ESPN300 before joining the University of North Carolina in 2018. He appeared in only 12 games from 2018 to 2020, notably playing behind future NFL players Dyami Brown and Daz Newsome at his position. Both wide receivers would get drafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, with the Washington Commanders selecting Dyami Brown in the third round.
Green would play second fiddle to Josh Downs in each of the past two seasons. While Downs doubled (and even tripled) Green's reception in 2021 and 2022, Green would be second on the team in all receiving stats. Green averaged over 18.0 yards per reception in both 2021 and 2022. In his final two seasons, Green would finish with 74 receptions, 1410 yards, and 12 touchdowns in 22 games
