According to Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football, Undrafted Saints rookie, WR Shaquan Davis, is a standout at practice and is making a push for a roster spot. In the Saints’ second preseason game, Davis had three catches for 63 yards on five targets. Davis will have a tough battle to make the team but this news makes him a guy to keep an eye on for deep leagues. The Saints have Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, and Rashid Shaheed locked in. The rookie Shaquan Davis could challenge veterans Keith Kirkwood, Tre’Quan Smith, and Lynn Bowden along with 2023 6th-round pick A.T. Perry, who has also been impressive in camp, for a spot on the 53-man.
Shaquan Davis is a 6’5 217 pound Wide receiver who went to South Carolina State University. Davis caught 132 passes for 2,732 yards and 28 touchdowns, averaging 20.6 yards per catch. He led the MEAC in receiving in consecutive seasons. Davis, due to his size, has modeled his game after Calvin Johnson.
