After four "good" seasons at Nebraska, Adrian Martinez took advantage of the transfer portal and brough his dual-threat ability to Kansas State. Despite aquiring an injury in the 2022 seasons, Martinez was able to eclipse 600 rushing yards once again, his fiftht consecutive with 500+ on the ground.
As a passer, Martinez complted 64% of passes in 2022, equal to his 5-year average after up and down seasons in 2020 and 2021 at Nebraska. In terms of the NFL, Martinez feels like the closest thing we have seen to Taysom Hill coming out of BYU after 5 seasons and almost 3,000 yards on the ground with poor passing attributes.
