Brenton Strange was a four-star recruit and committed to Penn State as a member of their 2018 recruiting class. Strange boasts an NFL frame. At 6-3 247 pounds, Strange was able to make a favorable impression during his time in college. At Penn State, Strange played in all four years including appearing in two games as a true freshman. In 2022, his redshirt junior season, Strange started in all 12 games, caught 32 passes for 362 yards, and received five touchdowns. In his final season, Strange was voted to the All-Big Ten third team by the coaches and was awarded an honorable mention by the media.
