Michael Pratt Drafted 245th Overall by the Packers in the 7th Round
6 months ago

The Tulane quarterback is hoping to create a green wave towards playing time with the Packers.

Michael Pratt has been selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 245th pick overall in the 7th round of the 2024 NFL Draft. The quarterback will be battling for practice reps as he’ll be holding a clipboard to start his career learning from Jordan Love.

The 6’3’’ 217-pound quarterback has less touch on the ball for intermediate passes but is quick to lob the deep ball. There is obvious zip to his passes. Scouts have noted that Pratt could do better at throwing with anticipation to his receivers which stems from a lack of quick enough processing as changes occur within a given play. This will stand out as NFL competition increases significantly in rigor.

Pratt is a raw prospect with some likeable traits that will translate well to the NFL, however in totality his skillset will be put to the test in the event that Jordan Love goes down with injury. Michael Pratt is currently without an ADP on UnderDog fantasy and is ranked 9th in our rookie quarterback rankings. Michael Pratt is a valuable stash in Superflex leagues where gamers apply the ‘anyQBona53’ strategy.

Senior Bowl Star QB Michael Pratt Throws and Tests Well
8 months ago

Tulane’s QB Michael Pratt tests very well at the 2024 Combine.

The 6’2″ Senior QB Michael Pratt had a successful college career for Tulane Green Wave.  A freshman starter, who threw for 20 or more touchdowns in each season.

Just less than a month ago Pratt was turning head at the Senior Bowl in Mobile.  Each day he made great-strong throws, and he continued this week at the Combine.  The hype of Pratt continued after drills and testing his athleticism.  He did not run the 40 but did do 4 events and finished in first in 2 of those events.  One being the vertical (36″) and the other being the shuttle.  The other 2 events he finished third in those as well.

Pratt shows he can creep into Day 2, but most likely will be a Day 3 pick.  Pratt shows similarities to this year Jake Browning.  While he showed toughness and leadership in college he will now have to try and translate that into the NFL.
