Andy Reid announced on Wednesday, that the Chiefs would be resting some of their starters in week 18 and he revealed that Patrick Mahomes would indeed be one of those players. Mahomes underperformed for fantasy managers in 2023, finishing with 4184 passing yards and throwing for 27 touchdowns. Mahomes, finished 2023 as the QB7, his second worst season statistically  as a pro.

Blaine Gabbert gets the start for the Chiefs this week and it remains uncertain which, if any, of the Chiefs top playmakers will be playing this week. With one of the lowest scoring lines of the week don’t expect much out of Gabbert and the Chiefs offensively this week.
