Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton gives media an Broncos update after closing out the first week of OTAs.

After closing out the first week of OTAs, the Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton gave us a much needed update on their offensive situation. After drafting Bo Nix, 12th overall in this year’s NFL draft, Sean Payton had high praise for the rookie saying “he’s farther along than most would be”. Nix should be the front runner to earn the starting job in Denver with his competition being Jarrett Stidham and Zach Wilson.

Payton also went on to update their tight end room stating that Greg Dulcich is “close” to returning, but didn’t expect the tight end to be back until training camp. Payton went on to give high praise to up and coming TE Lucas Krull by adding how sharp he was looking so far in the OTA’s. A situation worth paying attention to especially if Dulcich were to suffer a setback in training camp.
