Adam Schefter reports that Saints wide receiver and All-Pro returner Rashid Shaheed has signed a 1-year $5.2 million extension. This is a considerable bargain as Shaheed offers versatility in the return game while ascending as a wide receiver.

The All-Pro and Pro Bowl returner is a tremendous pick in the Scott Fish Bowl which rewards a point for every 5 yards returned. On UnderDog, Rashid Shaheed is being drafted as WR-53 in the 9th round. Entering his 3rd NFL season, Shaheed is looking to build off of his 46 receptions, 719 receiving yards, and 5 receiving touchdowns in 2023.
