Ricky Pearsall
Ricky Pearsall Activated From the NFI List

The 49ers rookie wide receiver has his work cut out for him in a hyper-competitive offense.

Adam Schefter reports that 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall has been activated off of the non-football injury list. The first round pick will have plenty to catch up to while onboarding against stiff competition for targets from Brock Purdy.

Currently, the 49ers are in an imbroglio with star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk and All-Pro tackle Trent Williams, both of whom want brand new deals. Ricky Pearsall is a rare contingent play at the wide receiver position who would vault up draft boards in the event Brandon Aiyuk gets traded.

Ricky Pearsall is being drafted in the 13th round on UnderDog. The value to be mined for 49ers pass catchers is none other than George Kittle who is going in round 6 on UnderDog. Since 2018, Kittle has 6 consecutive fantasy points per game finishes in the top-6 or higher. Drafters should be increasing their exposure to George Kittle at ADP knowing he would have a much more impactful ADP spike than Ricky Pearsall in the event Brandon Aiyuk is traded away.
