DeVonta Smith having his best training camp.
DeVonta Smith is looking very comfortable in the Eagles new offense. The Eagles star wide receiver has been a reliable weapon since entering the NFL, but has never been a player that made notable plays that were eye popping in training camp. In Kellen Moore’s new offense, DeVonta Smith has been “open at will” and “looking like the best player on the field.”
DeVonta Smith recently got paid along with fellow receiver A.J. Brown. He has surpassed 1,000 yards and had 7 touchdowns each of the last two seasons, playing second fiddle to Brown in targets. In Moore’s offense, they are moving the receivers around the formation and using more motion which often leads to more fantasy points. Smith is currently the WR-17 in dynasty rankings on Keep Trade Cut and the WR-18 on UnderDog. If he is targeted more frequently and in more favorable situations, he will definitely outperform those ranks.
