Ricky Pearsall
49ers Rookie Receiver Ricky Pearsall to Return to Practice
4 months ago

The San Francisco 49ers 1st round pick Ricky Pearsall is returning to practice after suffering a shoulder injury.

San Francisco 49ers’ 1st round pick wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is returning to practice for the San Francisco 49ers just in time to get ready for the season opener. This coaching staff is not keen on playing a player if they do not have a good grasp of the play book, making Pearsall behind on the reps needed to have immediate playing time. However, the Brandon Aiyuk situation is still unresolved, which gives Pearsall a chance to make an impact sooner than later. In order to do so, Pearsall needs to show that this lingering shoulder injury isn’t going to limit him going forward.

Pearsall has a chance to play immediately if Brandon Aiyuk continues to hold out, or if he gets traded heading into the season opener, a Monday night game against the Jets. Pearsall has a crazy athletic profile with 4.41 forty yard dash to go with a 98th percentile burst score. Pearsall is going as WR70 in adp, and could be an absolute steal in the last couple rounds of fantasy drafts.
