New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave suffered yet another concussion versus the Carolina Panthers.
New Orleans Saints have lost their top wide receiver on Sunday verse the Carolina Panthers. Chris Olave suffered another concussion in the first half. He was down on the field for a few minutes before getting carted off. He was taken to a local hospital where he had movement in all extremities. This is unfortunate for any player, but this is Olave’s second concussion of the year. The Saints may use the same approach as Miami Dolphins used for Tua Tagovailoa and place him on the injured reserve. If they do this he will miss a minimum of four games.
For fantasy purposes hopefully Olave will get back onto the field sometime this season! But he may miss some time or even all of the season. Saints have lost the last 7 games in a row, and this is his second concussion this season. It’s believed to be his fifth of his career. This does put him in a health risk category. I believe he would benefit on going to the injured reserve and get fully healthy before he plays another game or down in the NFL.
