DeAndre Hopkins Week 10 Fantasy Outlook: Strong-Start WR2
DeAndre Hopkins has officially settled into his new role with the Kansas City Chiefs and is looking like a solid fantasy option once again. After a slow start, Hopkins broke out in Week 9 against the Buccaneers, posting 28.6 fantasy points with eight receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns. This performance showed that he is clearly the No. 1 receiving option in Kansas City, and with Patrick Mahomes under center, his fantasy ceiling is as high as it’s been in years. The chemistry between Mahomes and Hopkins is only getting better, and with Xavier Worthy still struggling, Hopkins is in prime position to remain the go-to target in the Chiefs’ offense.
Heading into Week 10 against the Denver Broncos, Hopkins is positioned to build on his momentum. The Broncos’ defense has been solid, but Kansas City’s passing attack, with Mahomes at the helm, is always a threat. With Hopkins now firmly entrenched as the top receiver, the volume and opportunity will be there for him to produce. Given his recent performance and the lack of real competition for targets, Hopkins should remain a strong WR2 with upside for this week. The old D-Hop is back in a big way, and he looks like a safe start moving forward.
