Streaming Kickers Week 14 | Top Streaming Options for the Kicker Position in Fantasy Football

by Jared Michelizzi · Waiver Wire

Welcome to week 14 of the weekly kicker rankings – the top streaming options at kicker article. We had another solid week last week for the kicker article. Younghoo Koo did struggle a bit missing his first kick from 35 yards out. It was a scary start for the top option, but he recovered well and ended with a respectable eight points. The other two options Will Lutz and John Parker Romo both put up stellar performances. Parker Romo stayed hot putting up his season high of 14 points. That makes three of four weeks with him putting up at least 13 fantasy points. Stay tuned to see if he makes an appearance in this week’s article for the fifth straight week!

Enough though about last week. This week is extremely important to season long gamers. We are in either the first week of the playoffs in some contests, the championship in FFPC, or the final week of most home season long leagues. Unfortunately, this is probably the ugliest week all year for free agent/streaming kickers. I hope you have found and stuck with some of our heroes of this article this year like Jake Bates and Chris Boswell. If you haven’t, have no fear. We still will find a diamond in the rough for Week 14.

Again, we are focusing on kickers available in at least 40-percent of yahoo leagues meaning they are likely on the waiver wire in most home leagues and even a larger percentage of FFPC leagues.

Kicker Streamers for Week 14

Minnesota Vikings Kicker vs. Atlanta Falcons

For the first time this year we are going to get a little spicy here with the format. The top option this week is going to be whomever is the Vikings starting kicker. Whichever of their options starts they will be head and shoulders above anyone else I see listed at 40% available. The uncertainty here is who will actually be the Vikings kicker come gameday.

John Parker Romo OPTION 1 (Available 92%)

The uncertainty of Parker Romo keeping the job is the only thing that has kept him from surging past the ownership threshold for this article. This will mark the fifth week in a row Parker Romo has been here, and he hasn’t disappointed a single time. We highlighted his strong Week 12 in the opening of the article.

He is still currently on the roster and has been at practice this week for the Vikings. The concern is that as the week has progressed the articles have started to come out saying things like “Vikings expected to cut unsung hero after heroic performances.” Keep a close eye out as you don’t want to get stuck with a zero.

Will Reichard OPTION 2 (Available 94%)

Will the Thrill Reichard was one of the best kickers in the league this year prior to his injury. The same solid opportunities Parker Romo has had the last four weeks Reichard was getting earlier in the season. Reichard also has both consistency and range. He also wasn’t fazed by a big kick late with the game on the line. He has been designated to return from IR and has practiced in full on Wednesday/Thursday. Keep an eye on the news and be ready to pounce on whoever is active. If you have the roster spots open pick up both for now and then replace the one who gets cut prior to Sunday.

Jason Meyers (Available 78%) vs. Arizona Cardinals

In years past, Jason Meyers has floated around the top five in kicker points. This year he has been struggling to even crack the top 10. Last week he put up 11 points but missed an extra point. Something is a bit off with him, but he has the talent to turn it around anytime. This week he will be in the temperature-controlled environment of State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

Last week, the Vikings were able to move the ball on the Cardinals, and I don’t see any reason the Seahawks can’t either. I see this going very similarly to that game, and Meyers will get his opportunities. We just have to hope it is vintage Meyers that shows up this week. I obviously favor the Vikings kicker, but if you don’t get news on them or the right one isn’t available, pick-up Meyers and give him a shot.

Good luck in Week 14! If you have any questions, you can find me in the discord where I’m always available to answer any questions or on X!
