2022 Las Vegas Raiders NFL Team Mock Draft Breakdown

Back again to break down my NFL Mock Draft 5.0, this time from a team-by-team viewpoint. After Mock Draft 4.0 came out in March, I started this series with the Jets, Giants, Lions, Eagles, Jaguars, Dolphins, Bills, and Patriots. Now with just 18 days left until the NFL Draft – I am on a quest to rip through the final 20 teams. Today features the Las Vegas Raiders. Las Vegas Raiders

No. 86 – Darian Kinnard, IOL – Kentucky

After taking Kolton Miller in Round 1 of 2018, and Alex Leatherwood in Round 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Raiders feel good at the tackle position. With the departure of many interior linemen over the last three years, it’s time to build back from the inside.

Darian Kinnard Advanced Stats & Metrics Profile

Darian Kinnard is a massive human, and the interior version of Trevor Penning in this draft. During the Senior Bowl, Kinnard had the opportunity to take that next step. But he fell behind his counterparts in Zion Johnson and Cole Strange. Previously discussed as an early-second rounder, the Raiders re-coup some value due to a poor Combine and mediocre Senior Bowl.

No. 126 – Rachaad White, RB – Arizona State

People will hate this selection. But with the Raiders yet to pick up Josh Jacobs‘ fifth-year option for 2023, that’s an $8 million commitment. With Kenyan Drake and Brandon Bolden on the roster, look for Josh McDaniels to continue what Bill Belichick did in New England and grab another running back. Rachaad White has connections on the inside of the organization with Antonio Pierce; who once vouched for him to go to Arizona State from Mt. San Antonio. Prior to Mt. San Antonio, White was at Nebraska-Kerney, because he received zero offers out of high school.

HS Senior: 2016 – over 2,000 all-purpose yards and named to the All-State team (no offers)

Freshman: 2017 at Nebraska-Kerney (Div. 2) – No Stats

Sophomore: 2018 at Mt. San Antonio (JUCO) – 1,264 rushing yards, 10 touchdowns, and First-team All-American. Named a three-star prospect, and No. 3 overall JUCO running back.

RS-Sophomore: 2019 at Arizona State – Redshirt Season

RS-Junior: 2020 at Arizona State – 4 games, 42 carries, 420 yards, 5 touchdowns, 8 receptions, 151 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown (Extrapolate that!)

RS-Senior: 2021 at Arizona State – 11 games, 182 carries, 1,000 yards, 15 touchdowns, 43 receptions, 456 receiving yards, and 1 touchdown (Just did!)
