We now have over one month of data from FFWC $350 Player Profiler Championship drafts. Here are some of the ADP Risers, or players that have moved up the most (July 3rd to August 3rd).
Alvin Kamara: 27 Overall (Up 4 spots)
No news is good news on the Kamara front. Kamara has moved up slightly as his case and potential suspension are in limbo. Money talks, and a lot of sharp drafters are trying to grab a possible Kamara discount as it becomes more and more likely he is out on the field for Week 1.
DJ Moore: 28 Overall (Up 4 spots)
While Baker Mayfield is not someone we should be considering as our fantasy starter, he is a clear upgrade for Carolina. Moore should have more consistent QB play and could be poised for a career year.
Last season Moore reached elite level target share (28.3-percent) and air yards share (40.1). If he hits those numbers again, he could be in store for a top five WR season. He could be going at the two-three turn by the end of the month.
Amon Ra. St. Brown: 45 Overall (Up 14 spots)
I had to double-check this one, but Amon Ra St. Brown is quietly the ADP winner this month. Drafters are more and more confident with the Detroit Lions’ offense. A healthy D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson, along with free agent signing D.J. Chark, should provide offensive support that St. Brown lacked to end last season. The Lions also should have one of the league’s better offensive lines. There are a lot of very sharp people who see ARSB as a valuable high target pick. He has a very safe floor to go along with an underrated ceiling. Ignore massive rookie year production at your own risk…..
Gabriel Davis: 46 Overall (11 spots)
Gabriel Davis has been one of the more talked about players on twitter and podcasts this fantasy offseason. His meteoric ADP rise continued this month, and he is now being drafted as a late fourth round pick.
Opinions will vary on Davis. Some see this as an optimistic evaluation, and some see this as the correct spot for The Bills’ No. 2 target. Wherever you are at on Davis, he is a player you will need to reach to select.
Christian Kirk: 64 (Up 11 spots)
Christian Kirk is another quiet riser. Drafters have put an emphasis on the WR position, and Kirk is looking like the clear No. 1 target on a much improved offense. I prefer a few players going below him, but this seems like an acceptable range. His contract has zero to do with how he will do in fantasy. Last year Kirk finished as WR23 overall, and he has a chance to make it two WR2 seasons in a row.
Kadarious Toney: 69 Overall (Up 13 spots)
I love Toney, and I am not alone. He is an early camp “buzz” guy. The Giants beat reporters have done nothing to cool this ADP rise. There was even talk of using him as a wildcat QB this past week. Almost every day we see another highlight reel catch.
Toney had maturity issues last year and some unfortunate injuries, but he has a clear role in New York and a chance to lead all Giants in targets. This ADP will continue to rise so enjoy the sixth and seventh round shares while you can.
Allen Lazard: 73 (Up 13 spots)
We recently saw Tampa Bay add Julio Jones, but the Packers have added no one. It is becoming more and more apparent that Allen Lazard will be their No. 1 WR. Aaron Rodgers recently echoed this statement saying, “I really think Allen is ready to make a jump and be a No. 1 receiver.” Drafters have been drafting Lazard earlier and earlier, and he is now going right around the six/seven turn.
Treylon Burks: 78 (Up 12 spots)
Burks has flashed continually with training camp highlights. Now it appears the discount drafters were right to draft him as his conditioning and asthma worries have disappeared. He is now going squarely in the seventh round.
If a player with his pedigree and potential opportunities starts flashing in preseason action, he could see an additional bump into the sixth round. His target competition is Robert Woods and Austin Hooper. It is very easy to project him as the potential scoring leader among all Titans pass catchers this season.
Rhamondre Stevenson: 99 (Up 5 spots)
Stevenson has been a buzz guy this offseason, and drafters continue to push him up. He moved up another five spots in early drafts, and his ADP is converging with Damien Harris. Stevenson has many outs to crush ADP this season. He could be the pass catching back, or he could overtake a sometimes fumble prone Harris. Or, the Patriots staff could give him an expanded role. However you view him, he is a player with talent on a team in need of playmakers. Drafters are betting on him in the eighth and ninth round, and he could move up even further.
