Every year, we see breakout performances down the stretch by the players that we’d least expect them from, many of whom are rookies who are making names for themselves in the league. Other times, it takes a while for public perception to catch up to the production of breakout players. The goal of this article is to help identify some of those guys and where you can take advantage of that and make fantasy football trades for the playoff push in your league.

Fantasy Football Week 11 Buy Trade Targets

Jauan Jennings (WR, SF)

Jennings has played incredibly well and been an impactful player for fantasy purposes this season, especially when Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk aren’t playing. Fortunately for Jennings’ fantasy value, that will be the case for the rest of the 2024 season, as Aiyuk is set to miss the remainder of the year. Jennings leads the 49ers’ offense in receiving yards per game (71) and targets per game (6.7). While a massive blowup game in Week 3 is inflating his averages, he’s had 64+ yards in four of seven games and 88+ yards in three.

It’s not just compared to his Bay Area peers that Jennings is dominating, but league-wide. He ranks fifth in yards per route run at 2.66, only behind A.J. Brown, Nico Collins, Rashee Rice, and Justin Jefferson. His Pro Football Focus Receiving Grade of 84.8 also ranks seventh among wideouts. Jennings also got paid this offseason, and the Niners did so before they paid their number-one wide receiver, Brandon Aiyuk. It’s safe to say that the team values this guy, and he’s proving to be worth every penny of his new contract.

Bo Nix (QB, DEN)

Nix has been on fire and improving every week. Since Week 5 he’s the QB7 in points per game at 20.4, averaging two total touchdowns and 30 rushing yards per game. That paces out to over 500 rushing yards on the season and 34 total touchdowns. Plus, his upcoming schedule is beautiful, with five of the last six games against bottom-13 defenses against QBs.

Chase Brown (RB, CIN)

Brown is the RB8 in points per game since being ramped up in Week 4, averaging 17.4 points. He’s also averaging over 19 opportunities per game since Week 4, including a whopping average of 28 over the last two games since Zack Moss went down. Brown also has seven touchdowns over the last seven weeks. This is an elite offense averaging 27 points per game, and we’ve seen how valuable the workhorse RB role can be with Joe Mixon over the last few seasons.

Fantasy Football Week 11 Sell Trade Targets

Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR, DET)

St. Brown has been a touchdown machine, scoring in seven straight games, but he’s been highly touchdown-dependent. He’s posted 75 or more yards just three times on the season (33-percent of his games). This Lions team is dominating opponents, leaving little reason to utilize St. Brown and the passing game. Even in a dream scenario in Week 10, where the Lions trailed early against a pass-funnel defense, St. Brown still only posted 60 receiving yards. The next three matchups line up to be more domination from the Lions against the Jaguars (likely with Mac Jones), the Colts, and the struggling Bears. Look to flip Amon-Ra for guys with higher weekly upside who are less likely to get game scripted out of production, like Puka Nacua, DK Metcalf, A.J. Brown, or Nico Collins.

D’Andre Swift (RB, CHI)

Swift has been a workhorse and a fantasy stud since Week 4. However, this offense is waning, and their upcoming schedule is brutal. Swift himself has struggled mightily on the ground, averaging just over 3.4 yards per carry over his last two games in good matchups. Four of his next six games are against the Lions and Vikings, who both rank as top-six defenses against opposing running backs. Now is the time to get out of Swift before the struggles continue or potentially get worse.

J.K. Dobbins (RB, LAC)

Dobbins saw his lowest snap rate since Week 3 with the return of Gus Edwards in Week 10. After an explosive first couple of weeks, Dobbins has struggled to break big plays and averaged just 3.5 yards per carry on his last 114 carries. His route participation and receiving utilization are nice to see, but the Chargers have the hardest remaining schedule for running backs of any team. That, coupled with Edwards’ return, makes Dobbins a sell despite a strong early start to the season.

Remember to always get fair value in exchange for these guys that you are trading away! Don’t force a trade just to get players off of your team, but also don’t be afraid to take risks. Only one team can win a fantasy football league league at the end of the day. It’s going to take a strong few weeks at the end of the year to win a fantasy championship. In some cases, a risk is necessary to put your team over the edge. Get out there and send some trade offers! After all, it’s the most fun part of fantasy!
