Below, Tyler Knaeble highlights running back streamers for Week 11 of fantasy football.

Welcome back to the most coveted article series on PlayerProfiler! As we live to see another week of football, that means we have to talk about a new group of running backs who are RISING as we approach the fantasy playoffs. Let’s dive in!

Austin Ekeler | Washington Commanders

With Brian Robinson out for the past couple weeks, we have seen some quality performances from the former fantasy superstar Austin Ekeler. Three TDs in two games, 15 touches in each game exactly and some yardage totals that aren’t too shabby.

That being said, it appears that Robinson is going to play on Thursday Night Football against the Commanders’ NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. Looking ahead, I do think Ekeler has earned himself some more run going forward even with B-Rob back in action. We have seen Ekeler put up some respectable performances, especially in the receiving game, even when Robinson plays. He’s had the following stat lines:

  • 4 catches for 52 yards
  • 3 catches for 47 yards
  • 4 catches for 47 yards
  • 3 catches for 41 yards

If he can just get a little more opportunity on the ground, which I think he will, Ekeler is a low-end flex play from here on out. He won’t get the goal line work, but I think the 29-year-old RB still has some good games left in him.

Isiah Pacheco | Kansas City Chiefs

Isiah Pacheco, who has been out since Week 3 of the season, just had his practice window open up, which means he is close to a return. It seems like he is out for Week 11, but it is certainly in the cards for him to get back on the field in Week 12.

To me, it’s a clear buy low situation with Pacheco. Sell as high as you can on Kareem Hunt. Hunt will still probably be involved when Pacheco returns, but I think Pacheco will return to be the clear RB1. Fantasy football is very unpredictable and there aren’t very many certainties in this game. That being said, one of the tried and true strategies that never fails is rostering starting RBs that play for Andy Reid and with Patrick Mahomes. Buy now while you still can on Pacheco.

Jaylen Warren | Pittsburgh Steelers

Every week that passes is another week where we see Jaylen Warren become more and more involved in this Steelers offense. He saw a season high 16 touches against the Commanders last week and I think we see a similar story for the rest of the season, especially this week against Baltimore.

With Najee Harris listed as questionable with an ankle injury, Warren will almost certainly see a 18+ touch workload if Harris is unable to go. I know Warren doesn’t have a TD on the season, but that just means he’s soooooo due. Also, it is a bit of a gauntlet in terms of run defenses that the steelers will see over the last month or so of the season facing off against:

vs BAL

@ CLE

@ CIN

vs CLE

@ PHI

@ BAL

That may seem daunting, but to me, that just screams more passing and more receiving work for Warren. He’s my clear favorite of running backs I’m buying low on for redraft and dynasty.
