Welcome to Week 7 of the weekly kicker rankings – the top streaming options at kicker article. We hit a monster week in Week 6! All three kickers performed well with two of the three putting up over 17 fantasy points. Those ceiling games are really what we are hunting for. Last week, I was optimistic about the upcoming week and so it’s great when things come together like they did. However, it’s no time to sit back and rest as we hit the heart of the fantasy schedule. This week, I also really like all three streaming options. You should be good with any one of them, so hit your waiver wire and pick up one of these gems.
Again, we are focusing on kickers available in at least 40-percent of Yahoo leagues, meaning they are likely on the wire in most home leagues and a large percentage of FFPC leagues. This week, a few of the options at the top of the kicker rankings are are creeping up in ownership, but you should have no problem finding a good option.

Kicker Streamers for Week 7
Will Reichard (92-percent Available) vs. Detroit Lions
Rookie kickers can be hit or miss. Very few kickers are drafted in the NFL Draft, and the ones who do come with high expectations. While few actually live up to those expectations, so far Will Reichard has been a hit for the Vikings. He has not had a ton of opportunities, but he is perfect on the ones he has received. He has displayed both accuracy and a long range. That’s our ideal archetype: high floor, high ceiling.
I heard Reichard on a local radio spot a few weeks ago and this kid has something special about him. This week, with the Vikings playing in what projects to be a high-scoring game at home against the Lions, Reichard is our top kicker.
Jake Bates (67-percent Available) vs. Minnesota Vikings
Just like the Vikings, the Lions also have a new kicker this year. Enter Jake Bates. I would take Reichard first, but if he isn’t available, Bates is a great second option. As already noted, Vikings/Lions should be a high scoring matchup. Although Bates will be on the road, it will be indoors in a controlled environment. Bates is coming off a big game scoring 19 fantasy points last week. People are starting to notice, as his available percentage has gone down sharply since I first wrote about him a few weeks ago.
On the season, Bates is 9-for-9 on field goals and 16-for-17 on PATs. I’d be happy with either option in this game. Further, I would consider holding Bates for a few weeks to see if he might be a top-five kicker on the season.
Chris Boswell (46-percent Available) vs. New York Jets
Appearing for the fifth week in a row is Chris Boswell. This should be the final week he is available for this article. If you haven’t picked him up for the last four weeks and he is still available in your league – for the love of God – pick him up. For the rest of season there are only two kickers I would take ahead of him and those are Justin Tucker based on his last decade of track record and Brandon Aubrey who is clearly the best kicker in the league.
For this specific week, Boswell is again a good choice. Going up against the Jets, he should continue to have opportunities regardless of who is at quarterback for the Steelers come gametime.
