Welcome to week 9 of the weekly kicker rankings – the top streaming options at kicker article. Week 8 was our third week in a row of hitting big on kicker production. Chris Boswell who has been in the article nearly every week and has ascended to the top spot in kicker points this year. I must admit I didn’t see that coming at the start of the year. And still, he was not owned past 60-percent in Yahoo leagues. It seems the only thing that could remove him from the article is the Bye! The fact Boswell isn’t 100-percent owned at this point is crazy. However that leads into my biggest takeaway from paying intense attention to kickers and their fantasy scoring this year. The average fantasy player is slow to react. They focus far too much on previous year’s results and big known names. That is great – it leaves those of us paying attention the ability to pick up valuable fantasy points each week. We will do just that again this week with several of the every week kicker options on Bye.
Again, we are focusing on kickers available in at least 40% of yahoo leagues meaning they are likely on the wire in most home leagues and even a large percentage of FFPC leagues. This week a few of the guys that top the kicker rankings are are creeping up in ownership but you should have no problem finding a good option.

Kicker Streamers for Week 9
Will Reichard (Available 77-percent) vs. Indianapolis Colts
Will Reichard took a break last week in this spot in favor of Will Lutz. Lutz was the one kicker that didn’t have a big week last week as he was relegated to only kicking extra points. However, this Will (aka Will the Thrill) will not disappoint this week. He is perfect on both field goals and extra points going 14/14 on FGs and 20/20 on XPs this season. Reichard also has range, making from as far as 58 yards. The 50-plus field goals he has hit have had plenty of distance left on them leading me to believe he can hit from 60-plus when the situation arises. The Vikings look to bounce back this week, coming off two losses in a row. The offense also gets back T.J. Hockenson. The Vikings are going to roll on Sunday night and Will Reichard will rack up both extra points and field goals along the way.
Jake Bates (Available 64-percent) vs. Tennessee Titans
I am falling in love with Jake Bates. Although he only hit one field goal last week, he still put up 12 fantasy points. That is the definition of a great floor. At this point, it is solidified that the Lions high-powered offense provides the best floor in the league to Bates. He has displayed upside as well, hitting kicks over 5o yards with ease. This week against the Titans the Lions should roll again. If he is still available in your league, grab Bates up and consider riding him for several weeks until he gives you a reason not to.
Dustin Hopkins (Available 81-percent) vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Unfortunately, this last spot doesn’t go to our king Chris Boswell as the Steelers are on Bye this week. It does however go to a player who had a very similar year in 2023 to what Boswell is doing this year. Dustin Hopkins was No. 2 in fantasy points for kickers going into week 17 last year when he was injured. To start this season, I went to Hopkins early in the year and he didn’t pay off. He had surgery in the offseason and that may have played a role in his slow start. The Browns have also been a dumpster fire offense all year. Enter Jameis Winston. Winston came in and provided a much needed spark to the offense. I am betting with the time he has had to recover from injury and the increased opportunities, we will see an improved Hopkins. We want ceiling performances and Hopkins can deliver that this week against the Chargers.
