Notable Matchups
Denver Broncos @ New York Jets (12:00 PM CST)
- Cloudy, High of 61°F
- No precipitation
- 8 mph winds, with gusts up to 16 mph
Rain is expected on Saturday and possibly into early Sunday morning. With the weather patterns coming from Hurricane Helene, there’s a chance rain could get pushed into Sunday. As of now, even if that happens, it would likely be light rain and no showers. Normally a minimal fantasy impact, but rain and the MetLife turf could let to conservative play from Aaron Rodgers. Keep an eye on the weather patterns and stay away from pass catchers if rougher weather becomes expected.
Minnesota Vikings @ Green Bay Packers (12:00 PM CST)
- Sunny, High of 76°F
- No precipitation
- 12 mph winds, with gusts up to 20 mph
It’ll be a beautiful day in Green Bay. No weather impact in this game.
Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (12:00 PM CST)
- Cloudy, High of 89°F
- 10% chance of rain at kickoff and falling throughout the day
- Very little rain expected
- 6 mph winds, with gusts up to 13 mph
Despite the conditions stemming from Hurricane Helene, it looks like Tampa should be clear of severe conditions by kickoff. Similarly to New York, with weather like this we can always see extended rainfall. Keep an eye on this one, but even in rainy conditions I’m okay with playing players in this game.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Carolina Panthers (12:00 PM CST)
- Cloudy, High of 80°F
- 20% chance of rain at kickoff
- Very little rain expected
- 6 mph winds, with gusts up to 14 mph
As to not be overly repetitive, treat all of these east coast outdoor games the same. As of now, none of them appear to offer harm to fantasy performers. This can change overnight, so keep steady.
In the event of moderate rain, I’m still playing players in this contest.
Los Angeles Rams @ Chicago Bears (12:00 PM CST)
- Cloudy, High of 73°F
- No precipitation
- 14 mph winds, with gusts up to 24 mph
Windy conditions could offer trouble in the passing game. I’m not concerned with a vet like Stafford, but a rookie playing in the Windy City will surely lead to a few inaccurate passes. Despite the conditions, I’m not fading anyone in this game.
New England Patriots @ San Francisco 49ers (3:05 PM CST)
- Partly Cloudy, High of 66°F
- No precipitation
- 8 mph winds, with gusts up to 16 mph
No weather impact in this game.
Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens (7:20 PM CST)
- Cloudy, High of 75°F
- 30% chance of rain at kickoff
- Very little rain expected
- 3 mph winds, with gusts up to 8 mph
The wind makes this the trickiest east coast game. The wind is expected to pick up throughout the night, but thankfully no precipitation is expected. If this changes, and this game is played in moderate rainfall with moderate winds, we have to fade the passing games on both sides.
I’m not sitting anyone in the matchup yet, but if conditions worsen, I’ll be fading Mark Andrews, Keon Coleman, and Isaiah Likely.
Tennessee Titans @ Miami Dolphins (Monday, 7:20 PM CST)
- Partly Cloudy, High of 90°F
- No precipitation
- 8 mph winds, with gusts up to 12 mph
It’ll be a beautiful night to probably just watch the other Monday Night Football game.
