Below, Tyler Knaeble highlights RB pickups to stream in fantasy Week 9.

Welcome back for the Week 8 edition of Running Back Streamers where we try to find the RBs who could be rising for next week or a guy you should have on the end of your bench who has some upside! We have been in on a lot of the right RBs this season, so let’s keep that trend going and dive into the next batch of guys!

Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers

At the end of the day, you want any starting running back in the Kyle Shanahan offense. However, it doesn’t hurt that Isaac Guerendo is 220-pounds and runs a 4.33 forty-yard-dash! In both situations where Jordan Mason has been unable to go, Guerendo has given you some quality performances with some nice long runs!

Last week against Dallas, Guerendo had 18 total touches for 88 total yards and a touchdown. While it’s being reported we could see Christian McCaffrey in Week 10 after the 49ers’ Bye Week, I would not consider him to be a lock to play. Even if CMC does play, there’s a 0-percent chance he walks in and gets 20-plus carries like it’s 2023!

It’s also worth noting that Jordan Mason re-aggravated his shoulder injury and he will be “reevaluated after the bye.” Guerendo is the only healthy back worth mentioning in San Francisco right now. He should be on your rosters at all costs.

Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins

This article series usually features young running backs who are on their rise toward starting roles in the NFL, not 32 year-old Raheem Mostert. Mostert has looked like dust for most of the season! That being said, Mostert appeared to be the team’s goal line back against the Cardinals in Week 8, scoring two touchdowns with 11 total touches for 20 total yards!

My advice here is usually “roster this guy,” but in this case I am saying the exact opposite. If you have him on your roster, you try to sell the dream of 2023 Raheem Mostert and capitalize off this two touchdown performance. There is nothing for you on Mostert island except a 32-year-old surfboard and fools gold! SELL AT ALL COSTS!

Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers

I am still holding out hope for Jaylen Warren in Pittsburgh for a couple of reasons. The first one being is he is still a high quality handcuff if anything were to happen to Najee Harris. This is a run-first team and Warren would be a weekly RB2 play if he obtains the starting role. The second reason is that Warren is just #good! In Week 8 against Dallas, he had nine carries for 46 yards (5.1 yards per carry).

Warren has had 12-plus touches each of the past two weeks, finally seeming to put the injury that held him out of a couple games behind him. He doesn’t have a touchdown yet this season which means he is due! Warren is not a guy I’m giving up on as long as he’s healthy. If you can get him as a throw-in via trade or he is still miraculously on the waiver wire, I’d be kicking the tires on him to get him on your roster.
