Predicting and Striking – Prediction Strike Targets Week 7

by Aaron Stewart, October 22, 2022

A brief recap of Week 6: Devin Singletary and Kyle Pitts both saw their share price increase, while Lamar Jackson went down. BUT if you joined the PlayerProfiler Discord server, you would have received a fourth buy option from me: Ja’Marr Chase. That was the big money-making move on the platform! Let’s carry the momentum into Week 7.

The NFL’s leading rusher missed his Prediction Strike projection for the first time this season last week and his price plummeted from $10.04 to $8.74 per share. It appears that Prediction Strike has overreacted to this and dropped Nick Chubb’s projection to 15.03 points, which is the lowest since Week 1 and it’s 2.5 points lower than his previous two weeks.

by Ahaan Rungta, October 22, 2022

This is the Best Pick ‘Em Player Props for Week 7! We finally got an offensive showcase on Thursday Night Football. However, this was not in a fantasy-football-shattering fashion as we saw touchdowns from several players not rostered in most leagues and not offered on pick ‘em sites. Is it going to be that kind of week? Or, will we see stars be stars in Week 7? Welcome back to the article series where we spot values in player prop over/unders. In these articles, I review selections from the previous week, then give out my favorite player prop pick ‘ems for the upcoming weekend on the DFS pages of Underdog Fantasy and Sleeper.

Week 7 TNF Showdown: Saints at Cardinals

by Matt Babich, October 20, 2022

The Saint’s 2022 QB Carousel has been frustrating for fantasy gamers, and the picture isn’t getting any clearer this week. On another short weeks rest, head coach Dennis Allen states that he wants to get Jameis Winston “…fully healthy and go from there,” and appeared pleased with Andy Dalton’s performances. The likely event is that Winston is active again as an “emergency quarterback” and Dalton gets the start. The human Red Panda is an effective real-life game manager but not an effective fantasy quarterback. He’s posted a season-high 13 fantasy points, so it’s best to look for other options even in 2QB leagues.

The priority spend-up and Hogfather pal: Austin Ekeler, is a top-tier RB1. Among qualified running backs, Ekeler ranks No. 1 in Receptions (27), No. 3 in Targets (29) and No. 4 in Rushing Touchdowns (3).

Betting the Spread: NFL Week 6 – Breece Hall Breakout

by Shervon Fakhimi, October 15, 2022

Happy Breece Hall dance party! We’ve been marching toward the breakout with Hall’s gradual increase in playing time and workload, but we officially got there last week. And to be honest, this breakout happened even sooner than I thought it would. Remember back in Week 1 when I wrote about how second-round rookie running backs start slow? Well, for a brief summary: rookie second-round running backs since 2012 leading up to the 2022 season that registered at least 150 touches averaged 9.8 PPR points per game in their first career NFL games. In the last five games of their rookie season? 15.62.

Betting the Spread: NFL Week 5 – We’re Back

by Shervon Fakhimi, October 8, 2022

The New York Giants are running out of receivers. Wan’Dale Robinson has been hurt. Sterling Shepard is out for the season. Kadarius Toney has been hurt and is in the doghouse. Kenny Golladay’s dust sprained his MCL and is out for a few weeks. Now, Richie James is nursing a sprained ankle. Even Daniel Jones AND Tyrod Taylor sustained injuries last week. Saquon Barkley ran for 146 yards on 31 carries last week. Green Bay possesses the No. 5-worst run defense according to Football Outsiders’ rush DVOA metric. Barkley is the New York Giants’ offense, and he’ll need to produce for the Giants if they have any chance at being competitive. Hammer the RB1 this week.

Predicting and Striking: Prediction Strike Targets- Week 5

by Aaron Stewart, October 8, 2022

If you’re interested in building your own portfolio on Prediction Strike, this article series will feature THREE players that I am personally targeting on Prediction Strike. Make sure to use promo code: UNDERWORLD when you make a first deposit of at least $20 in order to get one random share of an athlete.

Prediction Strike has overcorrected on Kamara. He’s still a GOOD running back that only turned 27 years old two months ago. Getting started on Prediction Strike? Then Jalen Hurts will become your best friend. An elite fantasy quarterback is priced under $3 per share and Prediction Strike consistently is too low on his projections.

Betting the Spread: NFL Week 4 – Turning the Corner

by Shervon Fakhimi, October 1, 2022

Dalvin Cook sustained yet another injury to his shoulder that has bothered him for years. Backup Alexander Mattison has risen to the occasion in Cook’s absence in the last three seasons. In the five full games Cook has missed since 2020, Mattison has averaged 21.4 carries, 90.2 yards, and 0.6 touchdowns per game while adding five targets per game and 0.4 touchdowns through the air. The Saints’ run defense has not been as stout this season as we’ve been accustomed to them being. They stifled Leonard Fournette (24 carries-65 yards), but Cordarrelle Patterson (22 carries-120 yards-1 touchdown) and Christian McCaffrey (25 carries-108 yards) had their share of success. The Saints’ defense skews closer to the Tampa matchup than the other two, but we’ll see. Mattison is a fine RB2 this week if Dalvin misses.
