High Value Touch Index – Week 12

by Mark Kieffer, November 26, 2021

The High Value Touch DFS Index is here to help you find the best plays for the dollar in DFS. This is done by looking at leaders in Carries Inside The 10-Yard Line Per Game and Targets Inside The 10-Yard Line Per Game and comparing their prices on DraftKings and FanDuel to create a rating. We look at these touches close to the end zone because touchdowns lead to fantasy points, and fantasy points lead to cashing our lineups in DFS!

The index showcases low-dollar running backs that are getting high-value touches inside the 10-yard line. The smaller slate leads to less available options to consider. Aaron Jones, Myles Gaskin, and Darrell Henderson make for interesting tournament plays this week. Jeff Wilson and Jordan Howard are players to remove from your player pool.

Air Yards DFS Value Index – Week 12 – Thanksgiving Edition

by Edward DeLauter, November 24, 2021

Darnell Mooney took full advantage of the injury related absence of Allen Robinson (DK: $5,100) in Week 11. Mooney saw a team-high 16 targets, which was one less target that everyone else on the team combined. He also saw 219 Air Yards and was able to capitalize on this immense opportunity despite only catching five passes. Mooney finished as the WR4 on the week with 23.1 fantasy points. At only $5,700, he would enter chalk play territory if Robinson is force to miss the game against Detroit and their exploitable secondary.

Emmanuel Sanders posted another dud last week against the Colts scoring only 5.6 fantasy points. Considering his performance so far this season, its best to chalk up his Week 11 opportunities as a fluke. Sanders has seen 100 Air Yards or more in half of the games he played this season, and setting last weeks performance aside on the cooling rack, Sanders has seen at least 78 Air Yards per game. His 17.4 Average Target Distance will make him volatile however he should a mainstay in tournament lineups.

Air Yards DFS Value Index – Week 11

by Edward DeLauter, November 18, 2021

Unfortunately, D.J. Moore has failed to record a double digit finish in fantasy points since this time and his red hot start to the season where he averaged over 22 fantasy points per game is looking like a mirage. But wait, that mirage in the desert may actually be the waterhole that you have been searching for. Moore is still averaging over 70 Air Yards the past four weeks and has the chance to play with potentially his most productive quarterback this season in Cam Newton.

Emmanuel Sanders has underwhelmed since Buffalo’s Week 7 bye averaging only 5.7 Fantasy Points Per Game in the three games after the bye. However, he is averaging almost 100 Air Yards per game since the bye and is tops in the league with a 18.3 Average Target Distance. Look for Sanders to haul in a long touchdown at some point. When he does you will want him in your tournament lineup.

High Value Touch DFS Index – Week 11

by Mark Kieffer, November 17, 2021

The High Value Touch DFS Index is here to help you find the best plays for the dollar in DFS. This is done by looking at leaders in Carries Inside The 10-Yard Line Per Game and Targets Inside The 10-Yard Line Per Game and comparing their prices on DraftKings and FanDuel to create a rating. We look at these touches close to the end zone because touchdowns lead to fantasy points, and fantasy points lead to cashing our lineups in DFS!

Unfortunately for most of these running backs, they do not have enough of a floor to rely on cash but are tournament viable depending on the size of the contest and how many lineups one plays. A.J. Dillon is a cash game play this week and one of the better values on the slate!

High Value Touch DFS Index – Week 10

Leonard Fournette and Ezekiel Elliott (if healthy) are cash game viable this week from this list. James Robinson is an interesting tournament play away from Fournette if he is healthy, and Mike Davis is someone to cross off your player pool list as his elevated ranking is based on the first several weeks of the season more than anything else.

Ezekiel Elliott and Devontae Booker can be used in both cash games and tournaments due to their usage, and I also like them in GPPs as well. Mike Davis and James Robinson are players I would not roster in any format this week. Zack Moss is a GPP only play for me, especially if playing 20 or more lineups.

High Value Touch DFS Index – Week 8

Jonathan Taylor, Najee Harris, and Leonard Fournette face some of the top rushing defenses in the league. This means that their floor will be lower than if they were facing weak opponents, but their work inside the 10-yard line gives them upside, where they could score a couple of touchdowns and boost your DFS lineup this week. Zack Moss is a GPP play because he doesn’t get enough volume to be viable for cash. Remove Mike Davis from your player pool.

In the index, Swift and Jones are the two I am most willing to roster in both cash and tournaments. Mike Davis and Leonard Fournette make for interesting players to have in your tournament player pool, that have the potential for multiple touchdowns in a given week. Derrick Henry is a stud that should be rostered if you can afford it but is outside of the index because he is cost-prohibitive, especially on FanDuel.

D’Andre Swift and Darrel Williams are my two favorite running backs to use in cash games this week due to their usage inside the 10-yard line along with their floor created by being targeted frequently. Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, and Devontae Booker are running backs I would include in my player pool when setting tournament lineups for Week 6.

This is a strange week for running backs with many of the top running backs, not on the Sunday main slate. D’Andre Swift, Aaron Jones, Najee Harris, and Mark Ingram are players to have in the player pool for tournaments provided they are active and healthy. Swift and Harris can be used in cash lineups due to limited options at running back on the main slate.
