Red Corner vs Blue Corner: Chris Olave and Jameson Williams

by Jackson Sparks, June 21, 2022

It’s already concerning Olave wasn’t an early declare, but beyond that, he ranked third among Ohio State pass-catchers in receptions, yards, and yards-per-reception – in his SENIOR SEASON. Obviously, his competition for targets were no slouches (Wilson and Smith-Njigba), but it’s hard to brush that tidbit of data off.
Williams can presumably win downfield, but much of his production came from his elite YAC prowess. He is a dangerous return man and an electric athlete in space – the polar opposite of Olave.

2022 Chiefs Backfield Breakdown: The Island of Misfit Toys

by Noah Hills, June 18, 2022

The 2022 Chiefs Backfield Breakdown is part of an offseason series in which I take a deep dive into one NFL team’s backfield and examine the respective rushing performances of the players in it. In doing so, I hope to gain insights into key players from a talent evaluation standpoint, and using that evaluation as a baseline, from a dynasty valuation standpoint.

Underdog Best Ball Strategy: The Guide to Drafting in 2022 – Part 1

by Jakob Sanderson, June 17, 2022

I will discuss the evolution of strategic levers in best ball tournaments, and outline the principles undergirding my 2022 draft plan. To be clear, this is not a guide in which I tell you what the best construction is, who the best players are, or any other definitive solution to unknowable question befitting a ‘Here’s How’ thread. I wish to discuss an inexhausutive variety of strategic levers you may wish to pull with different force than I will, and build a broader, humility-based strategy applicable to nearly every structure of team or player stance.

This article will cover running backs who look nice but in actuality are masquerading uninvited to the RB1 party. These are RB fool’s gold candidates. They are either declining in production, or they don’t come close to meeting the requirements of a running back who has exceeded expectations according to their current ADP.

2022 Late Round Tight End Targets

by Theo Gremminger, June 9, 2022

The tight end spot is one of the more polarizing and less predictable positions in fantasy football. Some fantasy players target elite TEs and make them the centerpiece of the draft plan. Others use the early or late rule- either taking a top-three tight end or waiting for whatever arbitrary number they choose to follow for their contingency plan (such as TE18 or below). Some punt the position and draft a late option.

2022 League Winning Running Backs

by Seth Diewold, June 8, 2022

Najee checks all of the boxes in order to qualify as a contender for the RB1 crown. First, his 91st-percentile speed score (110.2) qualifies him as having an elite trait. Secondly, Najee has proven to be dominant in both the NFL and in college. Last season, Najee posted a dominator rating of 30.1-percent, which ranked him No. 5 in the NFL amongst running backs. Thirdly, Najee has multiple paths to fantasy points- both in the rushing and receiving game.
