by Cody Carpentier, February 5, 2023

After a great week in Mobile, Alabama for the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl, practices and the game are in the books. I’m now settled into the Airbnb in Phoenix for the Media Week of Super Bowl 57. But before the Super Bowl content starts flowing, it’s time to talk about the Winners of the Senior Bowl for our Fantasy Football Rosters.

Betting the Spread: Week 14 – It’s Knight Time

by Shervon Fakhimi, December 10, 2022

Osborn himself has had a great fantasy day against the Lions. He has played at least 60-percent of the Vikings snaps in all but one game this season. Osborn should be on the field often in one of the highest-scoring games of the week. I love him as a DFS shot and think he’s a solid flex play in season-long leagues if you need to play him.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to RB Week 12: The Samaje Pe-Line

by Jakob Sanderson, November 22, 2022

What Pollard and Williams have been able to accomplish in part-time roles all season has been remarkable, even if they’ve admittedly ran hot. This type of game is always the ceiling scenario for Williams who is essentially the James Conner of 2o22 with his run of goal-line touchdowns. We’ve talked about Williams plenty here when D’Andre Swift missed games early in the season, and honestly, his role has hardly changed. The primary driver of Williams’s variance game to game has been script rather than who else is active around him. He is the primary early-down rusher with possession over 80-percent of work inside the five. The complimentary early-down and pass-down roles opened the year as entirely D’Andre Swift’s domain.

Hitchhiker’s Guide to RB: Week 11 – Pachecov’s Run

by Jakob Sanderson, November 15, 2022

The 49ers worked Elijah Mitchell in more substantially this week. He played a third of the snaps, splitting goal-line work and carries evenly. McCaffrey maintained dominance of the passing work. If this situation holds, it places McCaffrey more in line with early-season Austin Ekeler and peak Alvin Kamara rather than the potential 30-point-per-week supernova we thought we had last week. That being said, I would still be trading for McCaffrey. Trading early down volume for increased team scoring opportunities is a net positive from his time in Carolina for my money. He maintains an elite floor via the pass-game, and his ceiling in negative script or with a Mitchell injury is RB1 in a tier of his own.

Matchup Monitor Week 10 – 2022

by Aditya Fuldeore, November 9, 2022

The Dolphins were No. 9 in fantasy points allowed to receivers entering Week 9, where they allowed seven receptions and a touchdown to Darnell Mooney. Miami has allowed at least 24 points in six games this season, with teams passing often in shootouts against the Dolphins’ fast offense. If Cleveland finds itself in a shootout, Cooper will be utilized exponentially more.

The Packers have not allowed over 220 passing yards since Week 3, snagging four interceptions over their last three games. Green Bay’s secondary has shown an ability to contain opposing receiving corps well this season. They do have some injuries on the defense, but Jaire Alexander and company have the secondary locked down. Expect the Cowboys to instead attack the Packers’ suspect run defense. Prescott has a tough fantasy matchup this week.

HItchhiker’s Guide to RB: Week 8 – The Gus Bus Returns

by Jakob Sanderson, October 25, 2022

Gus Edwards returned to the Ravens lineup just as J.K. Dobbins exited. He immediately made his presence felt with an RB1 performance.

I would exercise caution in all directions here. On one hand, Edwards’ production was much better than his role. Edwards played just 36-percent of snaps and ceded a significant portion of work in all situations, including short yardage and goal line, to both Justice Hill and Kenyan Drake. He received a carry on 70-percent of his snaps.
