Design & Motion Graphics Lead

We are currently seeking a Part-time Graphic Designer to join our growing team. You will collaborate with our sports content creators to create eye-catching, yet functional imagery and animation to maximize engagement on PlayerProfiler.com pages, our social media channels, and the PlayerProfiler Podcast Network. Your job duties include developing still and motion graphics specifically for digital deployment to elevate web pages, optimize mobile app experiences, generate social engagement, and compliment audio and video media experiences. Our ideal candidate has a substantial portfolio of successful projects and is proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with PlayerProfiler’s Content Team on new and existing concepts.
- Design new responsive website content blocks optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences.
- Evaluate existing tools to make our platform feel more consistent and effective on mobile.
- Create logos for podcasts and new products.
- Develop graphics for articles and email newsletters.
- Create imagery for specific social channels from YouTube show thumbnails to Twitter info graphics.
- Create custom video sequences using animation and sound effects to elevate video programming on YouTube, within the PlayerProfiler.com user experience and embedded in mobile apps.
- Advise on best practices and optimizations throughout design projects such as color choices, fonts, and layout.
- Create visualizations in keeping with the PlayerProfiler brand identity with both direct messaging and undertones that align with project goals.
- Create and present multiple mock-ups to stakeholders to assist with project direction.
- Implement feedback and changes and manage updated requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, design or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Portfolio of extensive design projects.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
- Creative energy levels and a desire to innovate.
- Deep experience with digital media.
- Time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Affinity for sports is preferred but not required.
