Former Miami Hurricanes Quarterback Cam Ward is projected to be the top selection to the Tennessee Titans at number one overall.

The Tennessee Titans have the first overall pick and sounds like they are going to select former Miami Hurricanes Quarterback Cam Ward.  Ward possesses outstanding arm strength and versatility, allowing him to throw from various arm angles. Ward has played for three different colleges throughout his collegiate career.  The first was Incarnate Word, which Ward earned the Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year award. He later transferred to Washington State, his stats were off the chart throwing for 6,963 yards, 48 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions over 25 games, while adding 13 rushing touchdowns. In his final season at Miami, Ward led the nation with 39 passing touchdowns, earning both the Manning Award and the Davey O’Brien Award.  He is a proven player that can have success for multiple programs and is now slated to play for the Titans in the NFL.  Under the guidance of Head Coach Brian Callahan, who is known for developing quarterbacks, Ward’s skill set aligns well with the Titans.

Cam Ward’s fantasy football outlook for the 2025 NFL season presents a blend of high potential and notable risks.  Projected as a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Ward is expected to start immediately, offering immediate fantasy relevance. His selection by a team such as the Titans could further boost his fantasy numbers.  He also has dual-threat playmaking abilities, at Miami he had 4,313 passing yards and 39 touchdowns, while also contributing 204 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns.  In dynasty formats, Ward offers significant upside, especially in superflex leagues.
