Bryce Young
Bryce Young Officially QB1

Carolina Panthers Head Coach Frank Reich has officially announced first overall pick Bryce Young as the team’s starting quarterback.

Bryce Young was obviously going to start Week 1, the Panthers didn’t trade D.J. Moore and two future 1st-Rounders to let their QB develop slowly. What was more surprising is how quickly Young took control of the locker room. Early in training camp Bryce Young asserted his dominance over 12-year vet Andy Dalton, with the Red Rifle opting to follow Bryce Young from drill to drill.

Bryce Young is now the present and future of the Carolina Panthers. Young lacks prototypical size for a quarterback and will spend his rookie year without a WR1. The Panthers will opt for a pass-catcher-by-committee approach starring Adam Thielen, D.J. Chark, Hayden Hurst, Terrace Marshall, Jonathan Mingo, and Laviska Shenault.
