Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Sidelined for Multiple Weeks and Has Choice Words About the Team
Hamstring injuries f#*king suck and so do the Dallas Cowboys, per Dak Prescott. Dak was caught saying as much to a teammate, during a broadcast cut to him with the clock winding down in the fourth quarter in this Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Dak had exited the game in the third quarter with a hamstring injury on a play following a scramble in which he came up with a limp.
The Cowboys are now sitting at 3-5 and it appears Cooper Rush will be the starting quarterback for at least the next four games. Trey Lance will be sitting behind Rush as the backup. If we don’t get an opportunity to see Trey Lance in the next four weeks, I give all you dynasty truthers permission to free up the roster spot.
In the wake of the infamous Richardson tap out, and Baker’s Zyn-cident, Dak’s unfortunate timing on expressing how he feels about the team this year stands out to me as the worst offense. While I can appreciate honest self reflection, Dak is, both in position and in compensation, a leader in that locker room. Even when Dak returns following this injury, this looks to be a lost season for the cowboys.
