This should be music to Devonta Smith’s fantasy manager’s ears as he looks to take on the CeeDee Lamb role in Kellen Moore’s offense. The same report stated Smith has been “Un-guardable” in camp as well and at times he’s been the best player on the field. Smith will look to build on back-to-back 1000 yard receiving campaigns in 2024.

Smith’s talent on the field has never been a question, rather the limited targets in a run-first offense that has led to him finishing as the WR-20 in fantasy in 2023 despite having a terrific season. Unfortunately, that isn’t changing in 2024. The Eagles’ will once again be a run-focused offense with the addition of Saquon Barkley. Additionally, Barkley, A.J. Brown, and Dallas Goedert will provide significant target competition. Smith is one of the best receivers in the NFL, but that may not translate to an elite fantasy season.
