2022 third round tight end claimed off waivers
One day after the Broncos cut tight end Greg Dulcich, the Giants signed him off waivers. Dulcich has played in only four games this season for the Broncos, the team that drafted him in 2022. He has been a healthy scratch for eight straight weeks, playing behind Adam Trautman, Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull. Dulcich was the recipient of just 12 targets (5 receptions) this season on 46.5-percent Route Participation.
The UCLA product goes to a New York Giants team that is looking to build up its talent on offense, but are in flux, having just released quarterback Daniel Jones. The third-year tight end will complete for a spot with rookie Theo Johnson, Chris Manhertz and Daniel Bellinger. Johnson has been the starting tight end in New York, with 68.9-percent (No. 13) Route Participation. Dulcich was injured a large part of the 2023 season, but had a promising 2022 rookie season, earning 5.5 targets per game on 84.1-percent (No. 5) Route Participation.
