Senior Bowl Profile: Harold Fannin Jr.

Harold Fannin Jr (6’4 230) (0stars, unranked 2021) heads to the Senior Bowl after a record-breaking season that redefined the tight end position in college football.   The Bowling Green standout shattered FBS single-season records for tight ends with 1,555 receiving yards, 117 receptions, 119.6 receiving yards per game on 9 receptions per game.  Playing in all 13 games, Fannin dominated defenses, notching eight 100-yard receiving games to tie for the nation’s lead.

Fannin’s game is built on a rare combination of burst, speed, and agility. He consistently stacks defenders vertically, creating separation with advanced route-running including sharp head and shoulder fakes.

His hands and ball-tracking ability make him a reliable target down field, while his stop-start agility and lateral quickness allow him to turn short catches into explosive plays after the catch.

At the Senior Bowl, Fannin will look to showcase his unique athletic traits against top competition and quiet questions about the validity of his historically elite production profile.
