Kyle Pitts
Kyle Pitts Will Play Both at Tight End and Wide Receiver in 2024
2 months ago

The Atlanta Falcons are determined to showcase Kyle Pitts in their offense this year.

D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Kyle Pitts will be deployed as a wide receiver and a tight end in 2024. Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson was quoted as saying, “He’s learning basically two different positions.”

Kyle Pitts is not known for his blocking prowess. It makes sense that Zac Robinson will want to move one of his most elite athletic weapons around the formation. Kyle Pitts was the TE-12 in 2023 and struggled to break out with Arthur Smith calling the shots. In 2023, Kyle Pitts was No.1 in air yards, air yards share, average target distance, deep targets, and unrealized air yards. Pitts ranked 37th in catchable target rate. It was an uphill battle both with play calling and poor quarterback play in 2023.

Kyle Pitts is our 5th ranked Dynasty tight end and can be drafted on UnderDog for best ball at the 5-6 turn as the TE-6. As tight ends develop and age like fine wine, expect Kyle Pitts heading into his age 24 season to push towards TE-1 overall supremacy.
