Mark Andrews is still missing from practice since his car accident. He has been dealing with a “very minor thing”.
According to the Baltimore Police, the accident Andrews was involved in had some heavy damage to both vehicles involved. Andrews did not suffer any apparent injuries but has been absent in the last three practices. He was seen on the field catching passes from teammate Isaiah Likely before Baltimore played Atlanta for their second preseason game. He is expected to take the trip to Green Bay and will look forward to joint practices. Quarterback Lamar Jackson said, “All types of things go through my head. That’s Mark Andrews. But he’s good. That’s all that matters.” Andrews had an injury filled 2023 and is looking forward to having a strong 2024 campaign. He’s a huge piece to the offense and Lamar’s favorite target.
Mark Andrews is still a premier tight end in fantasy football and should still demand a top five presence. Among tight ends over the past five seasons, Andrews has totaled the second-most receptions (347) and touchdown catches (37) and the third-most receiving yards (4,305). Look for him for week one with an increase of Isaiah Likely on the field as well.
