Tush Push remains legal play for upcoming 2024 NFL Season.
Often imitated, rarely duplicated. The Eagles go-to play for 4th and short, the Brotherly Shove, is back for the foreseeable future. The NFL recently approved the Tush Push as a legal play for the 2024 season.
The Eagles converted 4th downs at a league-leading 73.1% success rate in 2023. However, following the retirement of long-time star center, Jason Kelce, there are questions about their ability execute the Tush Push as effectively going forward. The loss of Kelce may be minimized by the offensive line remaining largely intact and the addition of star RB Saquon Barkley.
Most importantly, Jalen Hurts remains under center. After scoring 11 1-yd TDs in 2023, Hurts’ with this established legal play remains a cheat code for fantasy owners, reinforcing his rushing upside. While Barkley offers a dynamic rushing alternative, Hurts remains a top 3 QB option as we look ahead to 2024.
