Jamal Adams
Safety Jamal Adams Joins the Tennessee Titans

Former All-Pro Safety Jamal Adams is looking to bounce back from injuries by signing a 1-year deal with the Tennessee Titans.

Jamal Adams was a force to be reckoned with the New York Jets, earning two pro bowls berths and a First-team All Pro nomination. As much of a playmaker Adams was, he was never much of a coverage player. Adams wanted a contract worthy of his accolades and the Jets refused to pay that much money for a run-stuffing safety. The Seattle Seahawks stepped up and paid a premium by sending two first round picks, a third round pick and safety Bradley McDougald. The Seahawks then paid Adams with a four-year $70 million deal, only for him to play in 34 of a possible 67 games due to various injuries.

Adams signing a one year prove-it deal with the Tennessee Titans teams him back up with his former New York Jets defensive back coach Dennard Wilson, who is now the Titans Defensive Coordinator. If Adams can put the injuries behind him, he will be a real boon to a struggling Tennessee secondary that has added some pieces this offseason.
