Saquon rushes for 205 yards and 2 TDs in another dominant playoff performance.
The Philadelphia Eagles are headed back to the NFC championship game for the 2nd time in 3 seasons. Saquon Barkley rushed for over 200 yards for the second time this season against the Los Angeles Rams, and punctuated the victory with a 78 yard TD run that mirrored the 72 yard TD run he had against the Rams in Los Angeles.
Saquon ethched himself into the franchise record books again on Sunday, breaking the franchises’ single game rushing record held by Steve Van Buren that had stood since 1949. Barkley’s 205 yard performance is the 5th most yards in a playoff game in league history.
The Eagles will now host the Washington Commanders next weekend. They split with the Commanders in the regular season, with both teams winning at home. The Eagles gameplan will likely be very Saquon-centric again, as he has rushed for nearly 1100 yards and 12 TDs in 11 games vs the Commanders in his career. Early lines have the Eagles as -5.5 home favorites.
