Marquise Brown is trying to put the Hollywood back in Hollywood Brown by signing a one year prove it deal with the Chiefs, worth around 7 million and up to 11 million with incentives. The speedy 5 ‘9, 170 pound, former first round selection by the Baltimore Ravens played the last 2 seasons with Cardinals in which he never lived up to the expectations, recording just 1283 yards on 118 receptions in 26 games played with the club.

The Chiefs are looking to get similar production like Brown had for the Ravens back in 2021, when he finished as the WR19 and had 91 receptions for 1008 yards and 6 touchdowns. This is a win-win situation for both sides, the Chiefs get their field stretching burner on the cheap to complement Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce, Brown gets the chance to prove himself on a one year deal in hopes of landing a big contract in 2025. This move gives the Chiefs some flexibility, with their first round selection and can now pick the best talent instead of being handcuffed to a positional need.
