The Washington Commanders have added wide receiver Michael Gallup. Gallup has been often injured throughout his career. Never being able to stay consistently healthy, Gallup had his most successful season in year 2 of his career when he had 66 receptions and 1,107 receiving yards with the Dallas Cowboys.

This move is a cheap way to figure out if the Commanders can replace Dyami Brown’s production. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the Commanders will shy away from drafting wide receivers in the 2025 NFL Draft. 

Overall, Jayden Daniels gets another weapon. Daniels was No.2 in expected fantasy points per game with 20.3 in 2024. Daniels was 2nd in quarterback rushing yards with 891 and 2nd in rush yards per game with 52.4. Expect the Commanders to continue adding weapons around Jayden Daniels while Michael Gallup will do his best to make the final cut for week 1.
