Brevyn Spann-Ford

Brevyn Spann-Ford, the talented tight end prospect from Minnesota, completed athletic testing at the 2024 NFL Combine. This included running a 4.76 40-yard dash time. While this may not seem fast on its surface, Spann-Ford is a massive prospect measuring 6’7″ and weighing 270 pounds. Combined with the tape on the field, Spann-Ford has demonstrated above-average athleticism, particularly for his size.

Despite his huge frame, he is still athletic enough to be productive in the passing game and has a huge catch radius as well. Additionally, Spann-Ford had his most productive year in 2022 with the Gophers where he accumulated nearly 500 receiving yards. Overall, he is an early day-three prospect who should provide depth early on due to his blocking ability. For fantasy football purposes he is a late-round-flier who could slide into round three with early draft capital.
