Bub Means To Miss Time With Ankle Injury

New Orleans Saints have placed wide receiver Bub Means and running back Kendre Miller on the IR.
Ahead of Week 9 the New Orleans Saints placed two players onto the injured reserve making them both missing a minimum of four games. Wide receiver Bub Means went to the IR due to his ankle injury he suffered against the Chargers during Week 8 matchup. Also, during Saints’ Week 8 matchup running back Kendre Miller hurt his hamstring.
For fantasy purposes Means looked to increase his role while Chris Olave was recovering from his concussion he suffered but unfortunately, Means will have to do a wait and see approach while he is resting his ankle injury. Some wide receivers to look to help out in the meanwhile is newly acquired Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mason Tipton, or even Cedrick Wilson.
For Miller though this is a familiar situation for him being on the injured reserve. He spent much of his rookie season on it and this is his second time this season being on it. Alvin Kamara will get the heavy workload going forward and they have just activated Jordan Mims to the active roster. Both Kamara’s backups Jamaal Williams and Miller are both hurt.
They will look to get back onto the field as soon as both are healthy enough to play.

No one knows what it Means, but its provocative.
Fifth round rookie wide receiver Bub Means is beginning Saints training camp on the non-football injury list. The injury is not deemed serious. Means will have to pass a conditioning test prior to being activated for Saints training camp. Of note is that players do not start drawing their salary until they are activated from the NFI list.
The rookie from Pittsburgh runs a 4.43 40-yard dash and his athleticism score of 105.7 is 8th for the 2024 class of wide receivers. Once active in training camp, Bub Means will look to compete for the third wide receiver spot behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Means won’t have it easy as A.T. Perry has garnered late-round hype for the third wide receiver spot on the Saints. You can draft Bub Means as a late round dart throw on UnderDog in the 18th round.
