Daniel Arias was rated as a three-star recruit that joined Colorado as a member of their 2018 recruiting class. Arias barely played in his first three years, totaling 10 receptions for 204 yards and two touchdowns in 12 games as he played behind Laviska Shenault in 2018 and 2019 and the Colorado passing offense barely topped 200 passing yards per game in 2020.
Colorado finished outside the top-120 in points scored in both 2021 and 2022 and Arias and the pass catchers felt it. Arias finished third on the team in 2021 in receptions (19) and receiving yards (237). In his final season in 2022, Arias finished third in receiving yards (309), while averaging 16.3 yards per reception. Arias finishes his Colorado career with 48 receptions for 750 yards and four touchdowns in 34 games.
