Daniel Barker is a 6'4"", 250 pound Fifth Year Senior tight end from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Barker was a three-star recruit when he graduated from Deerfield Beach High School. Before attending Michigan State, the tight end played four seasons at the University of Illinois. During his four years playing with the Fighting Illini, Barker averaged 16 receptions, 206.8 recieiving yards, and 3.3 touchdowsn.
Barker played in 12 games and started in six this past season. He had a career-high 21 catches for 239 yards and added two touchdown receptions. Despite not having a lot of production, Barker made his receptions count. Sixty-seven-percent of his 2022 catches went for a first down or touchdown.
