DeMario Douglas joined Liberty as a member of their 2019 recruiting class. He barely played as a true freshman as Antonio Gandy-Golden dominated in his final season. The following season, Douglas emerged as the No. 3 receiver for Liberty with a 32-363-3 stat line in 11 games.
In Douglas' third season with Liberty in 2021, he led the team in receptions (52), receiving yards (701), and was second on the team in receiving touchdowns (6). In Douglas's final season at Liberty, the team just lost Malik Willis to the NFL Draft, but Douglas again led the team with 79 receptions for 993 yards and 6 touchdowns. For his career, he finished fifth in program history in receptions with 172.
