E.J. Burgess is a big physical running back from Frankin Pierce University. Standing at 6-0 220-pounds, Burgess used his size to his advantage in college. His most productive season came in 2021 where Burgess ran for 1,204 yards, scored 10 touchdowns, and averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
Burgess also was also effective as a receiver in 2021. During that season, he caught 26 passes for 400 yards, scoring two touchdowns through the air. The numbers dipped in 2022, as he rushed for just 525 yards in 2022, but Burgess showed he could do the year before.
