Elijah Higgins entered college football as a four-star recruit and joined Stanford as a member of their 2019 recruiting class. Higgins barely played his first two seasons, appearing in five total games with 176 scoreless yards.
As a junior in 2021, Higgins established himself at Stanford. He led the team in receptions (45) and second in both receiving yards (500) and receiving touchdowns (4). Returning for his senior season in 2022, Higgins led the team in receptions (59) and receiving touchdowns (704).
